Bucket bags are a very big trend for Spring 2024 and what I love about the Jimmy Choo Cinch bag is the fact that this bucket bag is reimagined in the East/West shape. One of my favorite bag shapes at the moment, the East/West bag styles feel very fresh and modern. How to style them? Well, honestly the possibilities are endless, but if you’re feeling adventurous, why not try and combine it with a few other trends of the season.

Today, I paired my Cinch bag with a strapless peplum top from Magda Butrym, capri pants from Vince and finished the look with Bottega Veneta sunglasses. All the pieces I am wear9g in this post are like HERE.

Personally, I love a good tennis dress and this one is so gorgeous you can definitely wear it on the court and off! For a cute off the court look, pair it with loafers, a bomber jacket and complete the look with understated polished accents.

I am also always partial to a chic sporty knit like the one I am wearing today! So good on the court of course, but also off paired with some jeans and ballet flats.

My Thoughts on 2024 Pantless Trend + Ways to Wear it

I’m not going to lie, I was not a fan of the 2024 pantless trend at first. Yes sure it works on a runway, and I can certainly see it on the Red Carpet, but it’s a bit much for the real life… isn’t it?

Well, perhaps it is not and being able to pull off the pantless trend is all about wearing it in the way that works for you. One way is of course by adding a pair of black tights and an oversized boxy blazer or trench coat to the mix. This styling choice tends to cut down the sexiness of the look and instead amplifies the edge and sophistication.

Another styling option is what I’ve done here today. The sheer organza skirt adds a lovely romantic element to the look and although I wouldn’t wear this outfit everyday, I was perfectly fine wearing it to dinner and cocktails with friends. But I am curious of your opinion, would you wear the pantless trend?

Chic & Easy Weekend Separates from Varley

Wore these chic pieces from Varley on a weekend trip to the Sunstone Winery and absolutely loved how easy and comfortable they felt all day long…

Something I talk about a lot here is of course comfort. In my day to day, that is what I prefer and yet… If you’ve been following me a while you probably already know that I tend to gravitate towards a more polished and pulled together style. And so it makes me very glad anytime I can find items that are both: comfortable and stylish.

For size reference, I got an XS in both the cardigan and the pants, and I am very happy with they way the fit. I am 5.9 and the pants hit me just above the ankle.

Summer Escape Athleisure Faves from Victorias Secret

To say that athleisure is having a moment right now is to say nothing at all… Personally, I am a big fan of this trend, especially when I travel. Comfort is of course key, yet I still want to look polished and pulled together.

Today, I am sporting a few athleisure finds from Victoria’s Secret I wore on my recent trip to Carmel. Under $50 price point aside, I love the mesh paneling on the leggings and corset details on both. I think it’s these extra little things that add to the overall look, and make the items appear much more visually interesting.

Newest Obsession: LETO Pool Floats

We just got these gorgeous pool floats from LETO, and now I am tempted to spend the rest of the summer just lounging around…

So chic, so elegant, so versatile, I love that they can be used in and out of the pool and that they come in stylish neutral shades which add a very luxe touch to a pool area. Other highlights: they are very comfortable so we’ve been using them as a poolside lounger when we’re not in water quite a bit, they are very lightweight and easy to move around, it takes no time at all to inflate them, which is very convenient.

So far, we opted for two pool floats in stripe, but I’m actually thinking of adding another two in the color ivory. Linked to both HERE.

How To Style Raquel Allegra Soma Jacket

Meet the newest edition to my wardrobe: Raquel Allegra Soma jacket. Cozy and stylish, it’s the perfect option to wear on a chilly Spring evening if you want to be warm yet still look polished.

For today’s look, I paired it with wide-leg denim, chic ballet flats and a minimalist the Row bag, but the styling variations are practically endless. For example, I would love it with straight leg ankle denim and loafers or dressed down with cargoes and chic sneakers for a slightly more casual approach.

Why We Love Visiting the Carmel Valley Ranch

Although we’ve been to Carmel Valley Ranch many times before, this year actually marks a 10 year anniversary of our first visit, we are always eager to come back… Somehow every visit is a little different and we always find something new to love about the ranch. This time was no exception.

We spent our first day at Carmel Valley Ranch exploring the beautiful property. We also paid a visit to the Corral to play with the many farm animals housed on the property. The baby goats stole our hearts, but the donkeys and the the alpacas were adorable as well!

If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend visiting the Corral. There are two ways to get there: a ride and a scenic hike, and I recommend the latter. You can find more on the activities on the ranch HERE.

A Canadian tuxedo and the Row accessories

A daily uniform that I love: A Canadian tuxedo and the Row accessories… I know that double denim is not for everyone, but I think that denim on denim looks can be quite chic, modern and elegant.

In this particular case, I opted for Citizens of Humanity denim pieces in slightly different tones and shades to add a bit of interest to our denim color palette. To keep the look clean and simple I added understated accents - The Row shoes and bag and silver jewelry (which is having a huge moment in 2024).

Sézane Denim I am loving Right Now

Obsessed with chic denim like I am? Well, then you definitely need the two above styles from Sézane in your summer wardrobe.

Love the LAURENCE TROUSERS because they are elegant, effortless and cool! Wear them with a cardigan, an oversized tucked-in button down or a chic cropped blazer for that pulled-together without trying look.

The BRUT SEXY is my unicorn! It’s my Roman Empire, it’s my perfect pair of white denim I am always on a lookout for. The best part about them, the more you wear them, the better they look. Cool with pretty much anything, I’ve been mostly wearing them with cardigans and t-shirts lately, and they never fail to get me compliments.

As a Tall Girl, I’m in Love with Banana Republic’s Pant Selection

I’m 5.9 and I like to wear heels which makes finding pants that are long enough a bit of a challenge. Well, that was a case until now that is, because Banana Republic is offering 36.5 inseams…

To say that I am thrilled is to say nothing at all! I love very long pants, and I can wear these with the highest of heels and they still go all the way to the floor. The beauty of this whole situation is that Banana Republic is also offering regular and petite lengths, so we have plenty of options to choose from Ladies.

Barrel Leg Denim: Yay or Nay?

The biggest denim trend of 2024? Why the barrel leg denim of course! Although at first glance a rather controversial denim style, in reality, it can be very flattering and easy to wear…

So, here is what you need to pull this denim style off according to yours truly:

First, I suggest opting for a heel in stead of flat shoe to wear with this jean style. Heels add a bit of a lift and tend to elongate your silhouette which is rater important, since barrel leg denim tends to add a lot of volume around your lower body.

Secondly, I suggest accentuating your waist. How, is entirely up to you: you can opt for a fitted top style (for this look I went with a fitted bodysuit) or you can tuck in a more voluminous top and accentuate your waist with a belt. What’s important is that your waist is clearly visible which prevents your outfit from looking too bulky and shapeless.

Thirdly, I suggest trying a few pairs of barrel leg jeans on, to finds the right pair for you. This denim trend comes in a variety of styles and lengths: in this post, I am wearing full length barrel leg denim which I personally really like, but a cropped length can also be very flattering to wear.
